Maroons FC offensive midfielder Ivan Mayanja is set to join Police FC, Swift Sports understands.
Mayanja has agreed terms with the Cops following the expiry of his contract with Maroons.
The diminutive offensive midfielder joined Maroons in the 2024/25 season as a free agent and became a key player for the Luzira based side.
He scored five goals and provided one assist in the 23 games he played for Maroons last season.
His signing is set to add creativity and depth in the Police FC offensive department heading into the new season.
The former CATDA FC midfielder won the Uganda Premier League and CECAFA Kagame Cup with Express FC in 2021.
Players like Edward Kasibante, Reagan Male, Ibrahim Ssengooba and Rayn Kizito have already left the club with Brian James Obedi on the brink of a switch to KCCA.
The Matia Lule coached side is also set to complete the signing of goalkeeper Sukuru Hadji from relegated side Calvary FC.
