Match day four of the 2024 Buganda Masaza Cup competition resumed over the weekend with several games played at various Playgrounds.

In Muganzirwaza group, two time competition winners Ssingo prevailed 2-0 over Kyaggwe in the entertaining game at Mityana Ssaza ground on Sunday.

Shaban Kayongo and Joseph Ssewali scored in either half to send Ssingo top of the group with 10 points, they have garnered this term.

Kyaggwe who suffered their first defeat of the campaign remain second in the group with seven points.

Still in the same group, Buwekula registered their first win of the campaign with a comfortable 3-0 over Mawogola.

Sharafah Mukiibi, Haruna Kisakye and Henry Kayemba scored the three goals for Felix Ssekabuza coached side who now move into third place with six points. They had drawn their opening three fixtures this term.

Gomba after three successive defeats got their maiden win over the campaign with a narrow victory over Kooki at Kabulasoke on Sunday.

Alex Kiiza Muwonge netted the all important goal for Nasib Mukasa coached side.

Kyaddondo humbled holders Bulemeezi 2-0 at Kasana playground in the a Bulange Group contest on Sunday.

Samuel Monday Kisozi and Isaac Ssenyunja scored in either half of the game.

In the same group, Butambala and Bugerere played out to a 1-1 stalemate with Yusuf Kato and Twaha Yawe scoring for Butambala and Bugerere respectively.

Buluuli and Buddu played out to a goalless draw in the other game in Bulange group.

Kabula beat three time competition winners Mawokota 1-0 in the Masengere Group game, courtesy of a Akbar Ssentongo sole strike.

Ssese and Busujju shared spoils in a 1-1 draw in the game that was played on Saturday. Jordan Ariaka and Tonny Sseruyange scored for Ssese and Busujju respectively in the other game that was played in Masengere Group.
