The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that Dahane Beida from Mauritania will be the center referee for the World Cup qualifier game between Botswana and Uganda Cranes due on Thursday, 9th October in Francistown at 7Pm.
Assisting Dahane will be his fellow countrymen H’Made Ibrahim Salem and Youssef Mohammed Mahmoud.

Diou Moussa also from Mauritania will serve as the fourth official while Miboti Moise from DR Congo is the Referee assessor.
Zimbabwean Matemera Norman is the match commissioner.
For starters, Dahane officiated the final of the 2023 TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations match between Ivory Coast and Nigeria that was held at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, on February 11, 2024. Abidjan.
Uganda will lock horns with Botswana on Thursday, 9th October 2025 in Francistown and end their Group G campaign away to Algeria on Tuesday, 14th October 2025.
Uganda is second placed in Group G with 15 points, four behind leaders Algeria who need one more win to secure a place in the World Cup due in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
