Former SC Villa president Immanuel Ben Misagga has branded the current club administration as vulnerable.
In his recent article over the ongoing circumstances regarding the new league format, Misagga attacked that the current SC Villa administration over failure to organize elections as well as failing to answer questions over billions of shillings in Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) compensation.
“My beloved SC Villa, which I served as president for four years, is a tragic case study. The current Villa administration is vulnerable, shackled by its own skeletons failure to hold elections, unanswered questions over billions of shillings in Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) compensation.”
Misagga also believes that FUFA President Moses Magogo can use the whereabouts of the Shs4Bn to bring the club’s administration to it’s knees.
“Magogo needs only to whisper to the fans about the whereabouts of the Shs 4 billion to bring the club administration to its knees. Furthermore, the club’s chairman, Omar Ahmed Mandela, a retail businessman, has a multi-billion-shilling carrot dangled before him by Fufa.” Said Misagga whose relationship with SC Villa President Omar Mandela and Magogo is not the best.
Misagga served as SC Villa president from 2014 to 2018 and was denied a second term by FUFA when they blocked the club elections.
When Mandela took over as Villa President in November, 2021, he appointed Misagga as the vice president in charge of fan mobilisation, a position he served until the fallout.
SC Villa who revealed that they are playing the current league format under duress will return to action on Wednesday when they host Entebbe UPPC FC under the lights of FUFA Kadiba Stadium.
