The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) national boys football championship resumed on Sunday in Masaka City across various venues.
Joint record competition winners Kibuli SS, Jinja Progressive Academy, Amus College, Standard High School Zzana, Masaka SS, Buddo SS registered big wins.
Nuwagaba Christian, Benon Lutaaya, Ambayo Emmanuel and Mwebaze David scored in Standard High School Zzana’s 4-1 win over Wisdom High School.
Standard High Zzana also cruised to a 2-1 win over Luweero SS in the other game they played on Sunday.
Buddo SS thrashed Bulo SS 6-1 while Masaka SS prevailed 5-0 past Makobore SS.
Amus College were the biggest victors on Sunday with a 14-0 thrashing of Maddox Secondary School.
Meanwhile, Bukedea Comprehensive School beat Highway Kiganda 1-0 in their first game before losing 2-1 to Blessed Sacrament Kimanya in their second game of the day. Action will resume on Monday in Masaka with several games at various Playgrounds.
