Host Venues for 2024 Bika Football Competition Revealed

The Bika Bya Baganda organising committee has revealed the host venues for the 2024 football competition.

The 50th edition of the Bika Football competition officially kicked off on Saturday, 27th April with Butiko cruising to a 3-2 win over record winners Mmamba Namakaka (Gabunga) in the first leg of their first phase that was held at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

According to head of technical Mansoor Kabugo the games will be held at Kawanda SS playground, Lubiri playground, Kawempe Muslim playground, Uganda Martyrs playground and Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

Kabugo also stated that this time games will be played on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

“Unlike the previous editions, this time games will be held from Friday to Sunday. We shall not have midweek games like it has been in the previous edition.” Said Kabugo

The registered clans will play and go through eliminations up to round 16 where they will be clustered into 4 groups that will then qualify for the quarter-finals where four teams will make it to the semi-finals before the final game.
