The Airtel Masaza Cup returns today with 8 fixtures on the cards. The tournament kicked off last week with victories for Ssingo, Buvuma, Bugerere, Kooki, and Butambala while Buddu, Gomba, Mawokota, Buwekula, Kyagwe all started with disappointing results.
Buwekula coach Allan Kabonge returns to Ssingo where he started his footballing career, he takes on 3 time Masaza winning compatriot Shafik Bisaso. Kabonge says,

” We need to get a positive result in Mityana if we are to make it passed the group stages.
When you lose points in the opening two games of the group, you brace yourselves for choppy waters”.
However, Ssingo has never lost a home game under Bisaso which clearly intensifies a hard task Kabonge and his men have been assigned to.
In Group B, Buddu visit Kabula with both teams in search of their first win of the campaign. Buddu played a goalless draw at home with Mawogola and Kabula lost to Kkooki 1-0 away from home.
Buddu coach Steven Bogere says,
“My players are in good spirits to win today though it won’t be easy, because Kabula also need the 3 points.”
