Allan Okello mutually leaves Paradou AC



Ugandan midfieder Allan Okello has announced his departure at Algerian outfit Paradou AC.

On Monday morning, Okello revealed that he has mutually agreed to terminate his employment contract with the club

“I want to express my gratitude to Paradou AC for the journey we have had together. After careful consideration, we have mutually agreed to terminate my contract.”

“This decision was not made lightly and it comes after extensive reflection on both my personal and professional aspirations. I believe this is the right step for parties and I am excited for the next chapter in my career. I want to thank the fans, teammates and everyone at the club for their support throughout my time here.” Okello stated in a statement

Okello joined the Algerian side in January 2020 from KCCA FC after impressing in the Uganda Premier league.

Before his move to Paradou, the attacking midfieder had been named as the best Player for the year 2019.

Last season, he rejoined KCCA FC on season long loan deal and were interested in signing him on a permanent contract but fall short of Paradou’s asking price.

In 2017, Okello joined KCCA senior team from the junior side and made his debut in February 2017 with an iconic hat trick in the 7-0 drubbing of Onduparaka at Lugogo.

In 2019, Okello was instrumental in guiding Uganda to a 14th CECAFA Challenge title. His next destination is yet to be revealed.
