Wakiso Giants defender Bashir Asiku has been summoned by the FUFA Disciplinary Panel (FDP) for attacking match officials.
Asiku attacked the match officials at the end of the game between Wakiso Giants and URA FC that was played on 21st October at Mehta Stadium.
The defender hit the window of the room and shattered the glass which injured match officials.
Asiku has to submit a written statement to clarify, contend or dispute his actions as stated in the referee’s report to the FUFA Disciplinary Panel.

He has to submit his statement by Thursday 26th October 2023 before 5PM.
Asiku joined the Purple Sharks in the previous transfer window as a free agent following his exit at Vipers SC.
