BIG LEAGUE : Nsimbe scores hat trick as MYDA humiliate Bukedea

• MYDA FC 4-0 Bukedea Town Council

MYDA FC started their Fufa Big League second round campaign with a commanding 4-0 victory over Bukedea Town Council at Elgon View Grounds.

Striker Ibra Nsimbe grabbed a hat trick for the home side while former Police forward Ogik Norman scored the other.

Nsimbe broke the deadlock nine minutes in to the second half before adding on two more goals in the 68th and 76th minutes.

The former JMC Hippos striker now leads the scorers’ chat with seven goals, one more than Saviours’ Emmanuel Oketch.

Ogik scored on his Myda Big League debut in the 71th minute.

MYDA stretch their lead the Elgon Group table to six points clear off second placed Kiboga Young. They have 19 points from nine games while Bukedea Town Council remain third with 12.

MYDA are coached by Swamadu Musafiri while Anthony Ssekitto is in charge of Bukedea TC.

The other game played on the day saw Katwe United thump Kataka FC 4-1 at Lugogo courtesy of a brace from Allan Tebusweke and goals from Habib Kavuma and Solomon Wafula.
