Buikwe District chairman Jimmy Kanabi was part of the squad that featured for Nsuma in the ongoing Bika Byabaganda Football tournament.
Despite his clan bowing out at the round of 32 following a 1-0 defeat to Nvubu, Kanabi called upon fellow politicians to directly get involved in the campaign as it one of the ways to help in talent development,
“I call upon fellow politicians to join the cause. Let us give all the possible support as I believe it’s the only way we can use in talent development and it will help to boost the game.”
Last year Hon.Denis Ssekabira the Member of Parliament for Katikamu North featured for Ffumbe clan.
Kasimba, Mmamba Kakoboza, Nvubu, Njaza, Ndiga, Ngabi Nnyunga and Mmamba Namakaka are the clan that progressed to the round of 32.
The round of 32 will be played on Friday 10th and Sunday 12th May.
Saturday 8th-June is the date set for the 2024 Bika Byabaganda Football final.
