FUFA JUNIORS LEAGUE : Vipers, KCCA, Busoga United run riot

The Fufa Juniors League resumed over the weekend with KCCA, Vipers and Busoga United registering high scoring wins.

KCCA Soccer Academy beat their URA counterparts 6-0 at Lugogo in a game that saw Oscar Mawa score four goals while Jerome Otim grabbed a brace.

Mawa has now scored 14 goals this season, joint top with Busoga’s Ismail Mugulusi who also scored four goals in their 7-1 win over Proline.

Moses Logono (brace) and Yusuf Bogere scored the other goals for Busoga United who are the only unbeaten side in the league so far.

Busoga United lead the Hat Trick with 32 points from 11 games while KCCA are top of the Treble with 42 points accumulated from 12 games.

Vipers thumped Kyetume 6-0 at Kitende thanks to Andrew Kawooya (brace), Ismael Alli(brace), Travis Mutyaba and Kato Derrick.

Mbarara City defeated BUL at Kakyeka courtesy of Ivan Ogwal’s lone goal.

Steven Walumu scored the all important goal as Bright Stars overcame Wakiso Giants at Wankulukuku.

Express registered a 3-1 away win at Onduparaka in Arua through a Samir Mudiba brace and Richard Enzama’s goal.

Maroons defeated Police 3-1 while SC Villa were 3-0 winners over Tooro United at IUIU, Kabojja Campus.

Noteworthy, a team is awarded four points in case of any win with a margin of two goals.
