FUFA sanctions Gaddafi FC chairman Ochieng for punching referees’ assessor

The FUFA Disciplinary panel has sanctioned Gaddafi FC chairman Edrine Ochieng with a fine of Shs2M for breach of FUFA competitions rules.

Ochieng assaulted match official Faisal Nsubuga during the Uganda Premier league contest between Kitara FC and Gaddafi FC.

He attacked the officials while they were in the dressing room.

Ochieng punched and kicked Nsubuga who was the referees’ assessor.

The FUFA Disciplinary panel has sanctioned Ochieng in application of article 13(1) and 13(3) of the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Code.

Ochieng has to pay the fine immediately and he is prohibited from taking part in any football activities until the fine is fully paid.
