Gadaffi FC will play against Nyamityobora FC on Sunday 15th-August in the FUFA Big League semi final promotional play offs at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru at 12:00pm.
Richard Makumbi, who missed promoting Mbale Heroes last season at the hands of Mark Twinamasiko who guided Kitara FC to top flight, is the man in the dug out of Nyamityobora FC.
Makumbi is optimistic that his side will prevail to the topflight
“I am a specialist in promoting teams to the top tier but this time round we seem not to be well prepared. Our preparations have been wanting.”

” I do not think we came to compete, it is just participation but my players will give the best they can that they have assured me.” He added
He has previously promoted Bunamwaya FC (now Vipers SC), Mbarara City, BUL FC, Iganga Town Council and Soana FC (now Tooro United) among others.
Gadaffi FC is coached by Hassan Zzungu formerly at Uganda Premier League side Busoga United.
Zzungu believes despite limited time for preparations they have done the best in preparing the team hence hopeful of promotion,
“Despite the 42 days of lockdown without football we have tried to prepare the team so well despite having limited time so we are ready to play tomorrow, use our chances and give the best so we are hopeful of promotion.”
The winner will face the winner between Proline and Black Power who will be playing later in the day to determine the third team to join Arua Hill SC and Tooro United in the top flight on Tuesday 17th-August.
