Kiwanuka fulfills $100 per goal pledge in the 2022 Masaza Cup Final

Businessman and Politician Sulaiman Kiwanuka fulfilled the pledge of $100 per goal scored in the Masaza Cup final between Busiro and Buddu.

Busiro prevailed to their maiden Masaza Cup trophy with a 2-1 win over Buddu in the final that was played at the Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku on Saturday.

Kiwanuka rewarded Busiro scorers Isaac Ofoyrwoth and Masuudi Kafumbe with $100 each.

He also gave Buddu goal scorer Denis Kalanzi $100.

Kiwanuka promised to continue with the culture of rewarding excellence in a typical motivational spirit.

“I will continue with the culture as have been doing inorder to motivate the talented young boys.” This will go on in the next Masaza Cup editions and several other tournaments.” Said Kiwanuka

Busiro joined the likes of Gomba, Mawokota, Ssingo, Kyadondo, Bulemeezi, Bululi, Kooki and Buddu to win the prestigious Masaza Cup championship.

Busiro talisman Akram Muzanyi was named Most Valuable player of the tournament while Ssingo midfieder Amuli Mukasa was the top scorer with 8 goals.
