Fifth placed Onduparaka FC host 15th placed Soana FC at the Betway Greenlight Stadium in match day 5 of the Azam Uganda premier league.
This will be the fourth encounter between the two clubs but the third in the top flight. The first meeting was in the 2016 Uganda cup quarter finals where Onduparaka emerged victors.

Last season, Siraje Turyamuhwebwa and Emmanuel Kalyowa’s goals were enough to subject Onduparaka to defeat whereas the first leg played earlier in Arua had ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
Onduparaka will rely on their impressive home record since they have not lost a league home game this season but Soana was the only team to have left Arua with both a point and a clean sheet.
They will rely on Nicolas Sebwato’s experience who was also voted the club player of the month . Onduparaka has no injury worries with all players available for selection.
It’s a must win match for Soana coach Shafik Bisaso as he risks being sacked with 5 games into the season.
Soana lies 15th on the Azam premier League table with only four points. The club will depend on the services Allan Kayiwa, Franco Olinga and Siraje Turyamurebwa
Coach Shafik Bisaso’s says that his target will be maximising all 3 points to move the team away from the relegation zone,
“We have travelled with a squad of 18 players whom we think will do a great job,our target tomorrow is to maximise the points in that we can put the team in a good position away from the relegation line”
Onduparaka comes in tomorrow’s game after beating Police 1-0 at Green light Stadium Arua as Soana lost 2-0 to Proline at Startimes Stadium Lugogo in their last game.
