MATCH PREVIEW : Police FC host undefeated Vipers SC

Vipers Sc will look to continue with their impressive start to the season as they visit Police FC who are yet to lose a game at home this season.

Police FC have won 2 of the last 6 home meetings against Vipers, drawn thrice and lost only once.

The two sides have previously met on 24 occasions overall with Vipers Sc winning 10, Police Fc 6 and drawn 8 games.

Police FC tactician Abdallah Mubiru will have a point to prove against his former pay masters who sacked him in December last year.

Police Fc have everyone available for selection apart from Aggrey Madoi who is ineligible to play since is on loan from Vipers Sc.

On the other hand Vipers Sc only have Halid Lwaliwa injured with the Congolese striker Mbayi Clovis back from injury and is likely to be handed league debut after missing the opening four games.

Abdallah Mubiru’s will depend on the good form of attacking Midfielders Albert Mugisa, Gift Ali and striker Norman Ogik whereas Vipers Sc will bank on Tom Masiko, Milton Karisa and the impressive custodian Ismail Watenga who is yet to concede a league goal in the league.

Police boss Abdallah Mubiru says his team is ready for challenge against the Vipers and he admits they are a big team with numerous strengths team but no need to over respect them. He adds,

” We have had two weeks of no activity and this period has helped us refocus and work on our weaknesses, we are well prepared for the game against the table leaders, they are a big team whom we respect but we don’t fear them”.

” We lost our last game so we need to get back strongly and keep our objectives on track”.

Jorge Da Costa’s men are currently top on the log of 16 teams with 10 points accumulated having won 3 games and drawn once, whereas Police Fc are 3rd with 7 points.
