Mbarara City FC have on Wednesday 5th February, been granted permission by FUFA to host Uganda Premier League games at Kakyeka Stadium.
This was confirmed in a letter sent to the club’s Chief Executive Officer Bainamani Bernard Bampire
“The Secretariat has received a letter from FUFA indicating that Kakyeka Stadium has since met
the minimum requirements to host Uganda Premier League games.”

Accordingly, all Mbarara City FC home matches will now be hosted at Kakyeka Stadium –
Mbarara.”
Mbarara City have been hosting their home games at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.
The Ankole Lions will face Police FC on Friday at Kakyeka Stadium in their next league fixture.
