MYDA remain winless after defeat to UPDF FC

UPDF FC humbled minnows MYDA FC in the Uganda Premier League game played on Friday at King George Stadium, Tororo.

Goals from Robert Eseru, Brian Kalumba and Davis Kasirye ensured that the Army side leave Tororo with maximum points.

The result sees UPDF FC register back to back wins in their previous two league games. They have also managed to two clean sheets.

MYDA on the other hand suffered their 11th defeat of the season and are the only side yet to win a game this term.

Eseru gave the visitors the lead in the 26th minute before Kalumba extended their advantage in the 34th minute.

Kasirye put the cherry on the icing of the cake with the third for UPDF FC at the half hour mark.

UPDF FC are now 6th with 24 points while MYDA FC are bottom placed with only 3 points garnered in 14 games.

The army side will next host Wakiso Giants while MYDA FC will travel to Kyetume FC.
