Ocen gets Police off the mark

Police FC got their first win of the season, a 1-0 over new entrants Kyetume at Namboole thanks to Ben Ocen’s lone goal.

Ocen who was also the eventual Man of the Match, struck the all important goal a minute to the half time break after an interplay with Timothy Oyamo.

Abdallah Mubiru handed debuts to homecoming striker Hood Kaweesa together with right back Denis Rukundo after along wait of clearance.

Kyetume had glorious chances of scoring but didn’t put them away notably Seif Batte who was presented a one on one situation with the goalkeeper but blasted the ball far from target.

The Cops now have two points collected after being docked three on the opening day but sit second from the bottom.

Kyetume who have four points so far are 12th on the log.

Police will visit Express on Friday in their next game while Kyetume will make a long trip to Fort Portal to take on Tooro United on Saturday.
