Olila trio granted green light to join She Corporates WFC

Vanessa Karungi  will turn up for She Corporates

Vanesa Karungi, Wilmer Nantumbwe and Cissy Nantongo have been cleared by the authorities to join She Corporates Football Club.

The three former Olila High School Women Football Club players were training with She Corporates ahead of their imminent move which reportedly hit a snag.

Olila High School Women FC demanded 500,000/= from She Corporates for each player claiming they were still attached to the Soroti based outfit.

The trio sought for intervention from the Players’ Status committee which consequently ruled in their favour and gave them a go ahead to join a club of their interest in a bid to pursue their studies.

The Nakawa based outfit, She Corporate FC a club affiliated to Makerere University Business School (MUBS) offered them bursaries to continue with their education as well as pursue with their footballing career.

The Players’ Status committee under the Chairmanship of Richard Ochom made the decision basing on Article 18.part 18.1 of the FUFA regulations and transfers of players which reads;

“The players should be released to join a club of their choice as a sporting consideration for their career and Education.”

She Corporates will be facing Kawempe Muslim, Gafford Ladies, Rhines SS, Ajax Queens, Muteesa 1 Royal University, Dynamic Jeeza, Lady Doves Masindi as drawn in the Victoria Group of 2018/19 FUFA Women Elite League.
