PILSNER SUPER 8 : KCCA and Vipers renew acquaintances in cup final

Defending champions KCCA will seek to defend the title when they take on challengers Vipers SC at Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku.

The Lugogo based club defeated Onduparaka FC 2-0 at Wankulukuku courtesy of Sadam Juma and Allan Okello goals to emerge the tournament’s winners at last year.

The fixture comes only two days after the Kasasiro boys edged Namibia’s African Stars FC 2-0 in the CAF Champions League and will be playing the Super Cup final against Proline FC next week.

Speaking to the Media in the pre match press conference at Lugogo, the KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi noted that it was never going to be am easy game for both teams.

He said;

” We are very ready and we want to win. We shall have two teams that are arguably the best in the country and everybody will be trying to play and prove that they are better than the other.”

The winner of this contest will be handed a massive boost in confidence ahead of the upcoming season which promises to be very competitive.
