Police Football Club launched their 5 year strategic plan and new logo on a glamorous event at Silver Springs on Thursday evening.

The function was graced various dignitaries who included Edward Ejong, Police FC chairman AIGP Asan Kasingye and Rogers Byamukama, the chairman club licensing committee and head of marketing and sales in FUFA.

The club chairman Assistant Inspector General of Police, Asan Kasingye is confident that the strategic plan see the club become number one in the country.

“We have launched a strategic plan which i believe will help us achieve our target, that is to become number one in the country.” I therefore call upon every Police officer to always come and support the young men. They always get the energy when they see us cheering them.”

I thank our head coach Abdallah Mubiru for the brand of football he has introduced to this football club.” Stated Kasingye.

The strategic plan consists of five key points

•To create a permanent home base with social facilities to ensure Police FC acquires facilities that support the wider supporting communities.

•Improve the club’s financial position through investment in club facilities and resources

•Foster a friendly and indusive environment for career development of players, building a fan base and boost the morale of sponsors and partners

•Compete and win at the highest level of National and regional football championships.

•Establish a professional administrative system that enables proper business management and development

The 2005 league winners finished 11th on the UPL table with 37 points in the just concluded season.
