Soltilo Bright Stars will be aiming for a double over debutants Kitara FC as both sides meet again at Kavumba Recreation grounds in Wakiso.

The reverse fixture ended in a comprehensive 5-0 win for Soltilo Bright Stars thanks to a Joseph Akandwanaho hat trick and a brace from Marvin Joseph.

The Baker Mbowa coached side has had a decline in form but a game against lowly placed Kitara would be a springboard to recovery.

Kitara are bottom of the Uganda Premier League table having managed only five points from the 15 games they have played so far.

Their opponents Soltilo Bright Stars are 10th with 17 points having registered four wins and five draws.

It should be noted that both sides use Kavumba as their home ground but this will be Kitara’s last home game before officially shifting their base to Masindi.

Coached by Anthony Ssekitto, Kitara will miss veteran Phillip Ssempira due to suspension having accumulated three yellow cards.

Soltilo Bright Stars on the other hand will be without offensive midfielder Nvule Jamil Kisitu due to injury. He will miss a chance to face his immediate former paymasters once again having been impressive in the reserve fixture.

Jjungu Methodius is expected to take up the creative boots in Nvule’s absence.

Ronald Ssempala, Sam Ssekitto, Hamis Gabite and goalkeeper Godwin Buule Kiwanuka are all out of the contest.

Akandwanaho, Samuel Ssekamatte and Joseph Janjali will be expected to inspire Soltilo Bright Stars in search of maximum points.

Kitara’s Ronald Kyamanywa, Peter Lomoro and Edson Agondeze are expected to ask the Soltilo Bright Stars a number of questions.
