The U-17 national team ( The Cubs) have conducted their first training in Rwanda ahead of the their first game in the CECAFA U-17 Zonal Qualifiers.
Head coach Hamza Lutalo affirms that by Saturday, his boys will be fully set for the opener.
“We have managed to do our first training in Rwanda after completing the 24 hours in isolation and receiving our Covid-19 tests.”
“The players’ bodies have been so down having spent a couple of days minus training but we expect by Saturday they will be fully fit”

Lutalo and his boys now wait for the MRI tests which are to be done later in the day,
“Now we are waiting for the MRI tests which are to be done today evening.”
Uganda the defending champions are in pool A alongside South-Sudan, Kenya and Ethiopia and will kick start the champaign against South Sudan on Saturday 12th-December.
All games will be played from Umuganda Stadium in Rubavu district
