TRANSFERS: Tusker part ways with Mathew Odongo

Kenyan Premier league side Tusker FC has mutually parted ways with Ugandan forward Mathew Odongo Tayo 6 months after signing him for the second time.

Odongo was on a return to Tusker after spending 3 seasons at Kariobangi Sharks but has had playing time hard to come his way especially after the appointment of coach Robert Matano who replaced George Best Nsimbe.

The pacy forward who can play on either wings and as a center striker has previously featured for Amazon FC in Iganga before bursting to the scene with SC Victoria University in 2014.

He won the Nile Basin tournament in 2014 in Sudan with SC Victoria University.

He then joined Tusker in 2015 before being sent to by then NFL side Kariobangi Sharks which he guided to a topflight promotion in 2016.

It is reported that a number of clubs from Kenya, Zambia and URA FC are already scrambling for his signature.
