The Crested Cranes shred Djibouti 13-0 in their opening game of Group B in the ongoing CECAFA Women Championship in Tanzania.

Juliet Nalukenge scored five goals, hat tricks from both Nassuna Hasifah and Fazilah Ikwaput while Nababi Amina and Najjemba Fauziah also joined the party as Farida Bulega’s boisterous side cantered to an embarrassing rout that laid bare her side’s title credentials while exposing familiar flaws in Djibouti.

Uganda shot Djibouti to pieces and by halftime, it was 7-0.
