Ugandan Boxer Bala Geko has been confirmed dead after going missing for several days.
It has been established that Bala lost his dear life in an accident and was found dead in Mulago Hospital Mortuary.
His death was revealed by Zebra Boxing Club on Wednesday in a brief statement
“We regret to inform you about the death of, Bala Geko of Matugga Boxing Club.”
“We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.”

Uganda Boxing Federation President Moses Muhangi asserted that they are to dedicate the forthcoming week 13 of the Boxing Champions league to him
“May his soul rest in peace, week 13 of champions league will be dedicated to him.” Said Muhangi
Bala has previously featured in the Uganda Boxing Champions league with one of his notable fights coming in his split 4-1 victory over David Asaba in April last year.
