Charles Twiine the former Public Relations officer CID has confirmed that some of the punks that violent attacked Referee Fahad Sekayuba have been remanded to Luzira.
Last week, hooligans attacked Sekayuba who was assistant referee in the game between UPDF and Express FC at Bombo.
Sekayuba was badly beaten after the game on his way to Kampala.
The incident resulted into the suspension of league games that involved Express FC.
According to Twiine, some of the punks have been remanded to Luzira
I am pleased to learn that some punks that violently attacked the referee Fahad have been charged criminally and remanded to Luzira.
“Together we can stop the hooliganism and keep the football heritage.” Said Twiine
On Thursday while appearing on FUFA TV Program Tutegere Omupiira, Moses Magogo revealed that Express FC were not guilty and the case was under investigation by Police.
