Vipers reward goalkeeper Mutombora with new contract

Vipers SC goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora has signed a new three year contract with club.

The Burundian international shot stopper has been an integral figure at Kitende since 2018 when he joined the club from Lydia Ludic Academique.

Upon signing a new contract, Mutombora says he wants to win more titles with the Kitende outfit.

“I’m really pleased to commit my future to Vipers SC and its great the club has put their faith in me. I have achieved what have achieved here and I hope I can keep on learning, helping the team and lifting trophies over the next three years.” 

He said via the club’s official website.

Mutombora managed to keep 13 clean sheets as The Venoms won the 2019/20 Uganda Premier League title.

He was also named the best goalkeeper as Vipers beat KCCA in last year’s Pilsner Super 8 Cup.
