Vipers SC have expressed interest in signing URA FC forward Cromwell Rwothomio, Swift Sports Uganda understands.

The Uganda Premier league champions have offered him a three year employment contract.

We further understand that Cromwell is also interested joining the Kitende based side and has already agreed personal terms.

The Venoms remain confident of sealing the deal as they continue negotiations with the tax collectors.

Cromwell is still employed at URA FC and was one of their best performers last season.

Vipers have already signed Congolese duo of midfielder Olivier Osomba and goalkeeper Alfred Mudekereza.

The others are Murushid Juuko, Abdu Lumala, Joseph Marvin Youngman, Ashraf Mandela, Isa Mubiru and Nigerian forward Abubaker Lawal.

Vipers will face off with Central Africa Republic Champions Olympic Real de Bangui in the CAF Champions league Preliminary round.

The aggregate winner will face off with five time Champions TP Mazembe of DR Congo in the final qualification round.
