Uganda Cranes vice captain and midfielder Khalid Aucho has extended his employment contract with Tanzanian Champions Young Africans (Yanga).
Aucho extended his stay at Yanga until the end of the 2023/24 season.
He was instrumental for Yanga last season as they clinched the league title.
Aucho scored two goals in the league and one in the Federation Cup coupled with a number of assists in his debut season.
The Cranes midfielder joined Yanga at the start of last season after leaving Egyptian side Misr El Makkasa and subsequently became an integral part for the Jangwani Giants.
He has also played for Simba in Uganda, Tusker and Gor Mahia in Kenya, Serbian sides Red Star Belgrade and OFK Beograd and East Bengal and Churchill Brothers of India.
Yanga are currently top of the Tanzanian Premier league log with 50 points they have garnered in 19 games, 6 above second placed Simba.
Aucho and Co are in group D of the CAF Confederation Cup alongside TP Mazembe (DR Congo), US Monastir (Tunisia) and AS Real Bamako (Mali).
