Mbarara City target the top of the table slot in their visit to relegation threatened Adjumani TC FC at Paridi Stadium.
The Ankole Lions are second on the table with 25 points while their hosts are 13th with only 11 points from 12 games.
Mbarara City FC come in this game in high spirits after thumping Soroti City FC to a 6-0 in the biggest win of the league this season at Kakyeka Stadium last week.
The hosts lost 3-2 in their previous game to Ndejje University in Bombo.
Sadick Ssempigi’s charges will miss out the services of goalkeepers Wycliff Mori, Hakim Nsamba, Jude Ssemugabi and Solomon Okwalinga due to injuries, Methodius Jungu is down with malaria, midfielder Lawrence Ndugga, Geoffrey Sande, Hamza Mumbere and Deogratious Ntegeriize are all not available due to family issues.
Victory will help Sadick Ssempigi’s charges go on top of the table incase leaders Kitara FC fail to win against Soroti City FC in Soroti.
Adjumani TC FC can also jump out of the relegation zone incase of victory provided Ndejje University FC and Kyetume FC suffer defeats in their respective encounters.
