FUFA Big League side Jinja North United have completed the signing of workaholic midfielder Sam Tiyo Kintu on a free transfer.

Kintu has been unattached to any club since the start of the season when he left Gaddafi FC.

He nearly joined Kenya Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz at the start of the season but his transfer fell through in the eleventh hour.

Kintu is a tried and tested midfielder who has previously featured for Express FC, Proline FC and the now defunct Kira Young among others.

Kintu and former Vipers midfielder David Bagoole “Tongo Po” are the high profile who have joined the Jinja based club in this transfer window.

Jinja North United are coached by Abdul Samad Musafiri and are currently occupying the 7th place on the table with 20 points.

They will face Eastern neighbors Busei FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup in Iganga.
