In a bid to return to the topflight division, FUFA Big League side Kyetume FC have beefed up their squad with experienced players ahead of the second round of the season.
Among the January signings is midfielder Nicholas Kasozi who rejoins Kyetume FC on a short term employment contract after he was released by Uganda Premier league side Gaddafi FC.
Kasozi joined Gaddafi at the start of the current season.
The midfieder has also previously featured for Synergy FC, SC Villa, KCCA FC and Express FC.
The other new recruits are defender Allan Katwe who joins the club from Soltilo Bright Stars and Fahad Kizito from Police FC and Barigye Huzaifa who joins from Kenyan side Wazito FC.
The Slaughters lost midfielder Emmanuel Kalyowa who joined Uganda Premier League side BUL FC.
Kyetume finished the first round of in 10th place with 18 points they garnered in 15 games.
