The FUFA referees’ standing committee headed by Brian Miiro Nsubuga has appointed the match officials to handle the 50th edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup Final between NEC FC and Kitara FC at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
Dick Okello has been named as the center referee for Saturday’s final at Wankulukuku.
Okello who is expected to earn a FIFA badge next year will be supported by Emmanuel Okudra and Ronald Katenya as the first and second assistants.
The committee has appointed Murungi Diana is the fourth official for the epic final.
Last year’s final was officiated by Shamirah Nabadda as Vipers SC beat Police FC 1-0 at the Akii-bua Stadium in Lira.
Meanwhile, NEC FC and Kitara FC will both be playing their first ever final. Express FC and KCCA FC are the joint competition record winners with 10 trophies.
