Offensive midfielder Asaph Ssegujja joins UPDF FC

Uganda Premier League side UPDF FC have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Asaph Ssegujja on a two year contract.

Ssegujja has joined UPDF from Buganda Regional League side Mbogo United FC.

He is a former player of Kawempe Muslim SS and also features in the Masaza Cup with Buluuli Ssaza Team.

Ssegujja is expected to add creativity and urgency in the UPDF midfield department heading into the new season.

As earlier reported, the army men have already signed forward Joseph Janjali from Rwanda’s Espoir FC.

Former KCCA FC and Police FC forward Andrew Samson Kigozi is also expected to join the Bombo based side after agreeing terms.

Goalkeeper Richard Anyama also committed his future to the army side with a new two year contract after his initial short term contract expired.
