BUL FC continued with their second round resurgence when they overcame URA FC 2-1 on their return to FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.
Following the installation of the new turf at Njeru, BUL FC returned to the venue.
Lawrence Tezikya’s late goal and Martin Aprem inspired Abbey Kikomeko’s coached side to maximum points.
Laban Tibiita first half leveller was only a consolation for Alex Isabirye Musongola’s side.
Aprem gave the home an early lead in the 9th minute of the game.
Ivan Ahimbisibwe came close to restoring parity for the visitors but his effort was blocked by Walter Ochora.
With five minutes to the recess, Tibiita levelled matters for the tax collectors.
In the second half, BUL FC’s assistant Simon Masaba was sent off for confronting match officials.
In the final minute of the game, Tezikya secured all three points for BUL breaking URA’s hearts who looked like they had got a point at Njeru.
BUL are now on 35 points and third on the table while URA FC are fifth with 30 points.
BUL FC will now turn focus to the Uganda Cup round of 16 contest against Total FC while URA FC while welcome Kataka FC in the same competition.
