Former Cranes striker Tony Odur is in the advanced stages of joining Onduparaka FC before the current mid-season transfer window ends.

Odur is currently training with the West Nile club as he is expected to return to topflight football after three years.

He last featured for Katwe United in the Big League in the closing stages of the 2019/20 season.

It should be noted, Onduparaka missed out on signing veteran striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma who opted to join NEC FC in the FUFA Big League.

Odur has previously played for Express FC, KCCA FC and Vipers SC as well as Zambian giants Nkana FC.

Onduparaka’s biggest concern on the pitch has being scoring goals and Odur’s signing will be expected to be a boost in the offensive department.

The club currently sits bottom of the Uganda Premier League table with only seven points from 14 games.

They will be taking on Pakwach Young Stars SC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64.
