Crested Cranes striker Natasha Shirazi has officially joined Italian club Venezia Women Football Club.
Shirazi spent the first half of the season playing for Turkish giants Besiktas before she announced her departure shortly before the end of the transfer window.
The 26 year old forward was today unveiled by Venezia alongside teenage midfielder Nicole de Canal who has been acquired from Sassuolo.
Venezia Femminile competes in the Italian Serie C which is the third tier of the Italian women football hierarchy.
Shirazi is a well travelled Ugandan female player who has had stints in Denmark, Spain, Israel and most recently Turkey.
She has previously played for B93 and Nordsjaelland in Denmark, Rayo Vallecano and FF La Solana in Spain and Israel’s Maccabi Kishronot Hadera.
She has two caps with the national team the Crested Cranes and was part of the team that won the CECAFA Women’s Championship last year in Njeru.
