Another Express FC player signs contract extension

Express FC have confirmed that defender Dauson Mafumu has signed a new contract with the club.

The youngster follows midfielder John Asiimwe who also signed a new one year contract earlier on.

Mafumu has signed a two year contract that will keep him at the club until 2026.

The young left footed center back previously featured from the Express FC Junior Team in the FUFA Juniors League before earning a promotion to the senior side in 2021.

He earned his breakthrough last season and featured in 12 league games registering one assist in the process.

Express FC under coach Baker Mbowa, have embarked on a fresh start that will see a number of budding and young players joining the club.

Isaac Wagoina, Mansoor Agu Safi, Marvin Oshaba, Abdul Kimera, Isma Kawawulo, Musa Ssali, Hussein Ssenoga and Edgar Katumba have all left the club.
