Vipers SC played out to a goalless draw with Guinea’s Horoya AC in their CAF Champions group C contest at the St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
The Venoms finished the game with 10 men as left back Isa Mubiru was sent off in second half for elbowing Horoya’s Mohamed Coumbassa.
Vipers best chance fell to Congolese Midfielder Olivier Osomba but his shot went inches wide.
Earlier into the game, Alseny Soumah forced Vipers custodian Alfred Mudekereza into a decent save.
The Venoms remain winless and have only collected a single point in the two games they have played in the group.
Vipers are yet to score in the four games they have played in CAF Champions league and Uganda Cup since coach Beto Bianchi took charge.
The Kitende based side next host Tanzanian Giants Simba SC on Saturday, 25th February at Kitende.
Horoya AC move to four points they have garnered in the group. They beat Simba 1-0 in the first round game in Conakry. They next face Moroccan side Raja Casablanca.
