The FUFA Referees discipilinary panel has suspended assistant Referee Khalid Muyaga for six months for unjustified extraordinary incorrect decision.
Muyaga cancelled SC Villa’s goal during their Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 contest against BUL FC at Njeru Technical centre.
After his six months suspension, Muyaga will not be allowed to officiate in the 1st Division as well as the Stanbic Uganda Cup in the following season.
Muyaga sanctioned with;
1. A suspension from officiating football at all levels for six months for unjustified extraordinary incorrect decision that affected the result of the match. The suspension comes into force immediately.
2. After the expiry of six months, Mr. Muyaga Khalid shall not be allowed to officiate in the 1st Division League and Uganda Cup tournament the following season.
BUL had eliminated SC Villa 1-0 courtesy of a Ronald Otti goal but FUFA has ordered for a replay due to unjustified extraordinary incorrect decision that affected the result of the match.
