Vipers have been boosted by the timely return of their skipper Milton Karisa ahead of their visit to Maroons for the UPL duel to be played today afternoon at Luzira.

Karisa has been out of action since February 25th as he was stretchered off injured in the home game against Tanzania’s Simba SC.

His return is timely as the Venoms return to league action following the end of their CAF Champions League campaign.

Alex Isabirye’s men will be seeking to close gap on the table summit as they sit 4th with 28 points, 12 behind leaders SC Villa who have played five games more.

While Karisa returns, Isabirye will have to negotiate their tie without striker Yunus Sentamu and Marvin Youngman who are on their road to recovery.

Defender Livingstone Mulondo picked a knock on his ankle while playing for the Cranes, Murushid Juuko is also still out of out whereas goalkeeper Alfred Mudekereza is sidelined with a finger injury.

Maroons will be without recovering Belmos Opio while Norman Odipio is a doubt.
