URA FC head coach Sam Timbe has revealed why January signing Bruno Bunyaga has featured less.

Bunyaga joined URA FC in January from Bushenyi Veterans on a three year employment contract.

Since he made the move to the tax collectors, the former Buddu player has only featured twice for the club both coming on late as a substitute against Wakiso Giants FC and Arua Hill SC.

“We all know and believe in Bunyaga and we are aware of what he can offer but if you rush him you may again lose him. We want him to get the confidence which he is steadily getting. We know by the time we decide to fully unleash him, he will be good to go.” Timbe told the club website

The striker started his career at Life Internal Nateete Football academy, Brisko Lungujja, Arrows Soccer Academy Lungujja and Divine Sports Community.

He has featured in the fourth and third divisions at Sparta 09, Field of Dream, Impala Hill and Bushenyi Veterans.

In the prestigious Masaza Cup competition, Bunyaga has played for Buvuma (2020) and Buddu for two stints (2021) and (2022).

He was instrumental in guiding Buddu to the 2021 Masaza Cup triumph scoring 6 goals in 7 games.
