UPDF FC youngster Lubwama was named the Youngest Footballer of the Season ahead of Raymond Barasa (SC Villa), Richard Okello (BUL FC) and Hakim Wandera (NEC FC).

Lubwama helped UPDF FC overcome relegation in the just concluded season when they finished 14th on the log with 22 points.
The wonder kid has previously featured FUFA Big League entity Kiyinda Boys before turning up for the army side.
NEC FC under the stewardship of Badru Kaddu Mukasa finished fifth on the league table with 53 points and were eliminated at the quarterfinal stage of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
