BIG LEAGUE: NEC ascend to second place with away victory over Northern gateway

NEC FC managed to register an important 2-1 victory Northern Gateway FC away to close in on table leaders Kitara FC

Tony David Kiberu and super substitute Farouk Ssekayi scored the two goals that handed NEC FC maximum points.

Northern Gateway’s goal was scored by Allan Atala.

NEC FC now occupy the second position with 47 points one behind table leaders Kitara FC

Northern Gateway remain at the bottom of the table with only 18 points from the 25 games they have so far played.

Big League action will resume on Thursday 20th April 2023.

Northern Gateway FC will pay a visit to Kataka FC at Mbale Municipal Stadium

NEC FC will host Booma FC at the Bugolobi Coffee grounds.

Match day 25 will resume tomorrow Friday 14th April with one fixture Booma FC hosting Lugazi FC at Masindi Stadium.
