Express FC welcome Busoga United at Wankulukuku in one of the three games to be played on Tuesday afternoon.

The Red Eagles will be opening to get over the Stanbic Uganda Cup disappointment after they lost to Big League strugglers Adjumani Town Council in the quarter final last week.

Busoga will be hoping to preserve their league status by securing safety as the season inches towards it’s climax.

The Kingsmen have enjoyed a brilliant form lately that has seen them winning four of their eight games played in the second round.

They beat Blacks Power (2-0), UPDF (1-0), URA FC (2-1) and recently Onduparaka (1-0) courtesy of Peter Onzima’s third minute goal.

Busoga currently sit a place over the relegation zone with 22 points whereas Express are on 25 points and in the 10th place.

Express will be targeting a double over Busoga having won the reverse fixture through the boardroom following crowd trouble after Allan Kayiwa’s late free kick goal.

The previous 13 meetings between the two sides have ended in six wins for Express, five for Busoga United and two draws.

James Odoch will have to negotiate the fixture without defender Derrick Ngoobi and former Busoga striker Anwar Ntege following their red cards against Onduparaka and BUL FC respectively.

Allan Kayiwa is expected to return for the Red Eagles while Ivan Mayanja and Shafik Ssebyala remain sidelined.

The game will kick off at 4pm and will be live on Sanyuka Prime and NBS Sport.

Tuesday Fixtures

• Gaddafi FC vs Wakiso Giants FC – Kakindu

• Express FC vs Busoga United – Wankulukuku

• Blacks Power vs Maroons FC – Lira
