Innocent Media double inspires Arua Hill past 10 man Gaddafi

Innocent Media scored a brace as Arua Hill SC came from a goal down to defeat ten man Gaddafi FC 2-1 at Barifa Stadium in Arua.

Alex Kitata put Wasswa Bbosa’s charges in the lead as early as the 6th minute.

Media put the game to level six minutes later by heading home Isaac Ogwang’s cross.

Gaddafi FC were reduced to ten in the second minute of the second half, Elvis Ngonde was sent off for a hard challenge on Allan Mugalu

Media who has now scored three in the last two games scored the second in the 61st minute off left back Richard Matovu’s effort.

The win was the first for Arua Hill SC against Gaddafi FC since the promotion of the two sides.

Arua Hill SC move to fifth position after victory with 33 points.

Gaddafi FC will play struggling KCCA FC next on Saturday 29th at MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo.
