Maroons detain UPDF at Luzira to end three match winless run

Maroons FC ended their purple patch of three matches with a 1-0 slim victory against relegation threatened UPDF FC.

Fred Amaku’s only goal in the 10th minute was enough to hand Mohammed Senfuma’s coached side all the three points.

Amaku is currently leading the top scorers’ charts alongside Express’ Allan Kayiwa both on ten goals.

Maximum points see the Prison Warders move to the eighth position with 30 points.

Maroons FC will play URA FC next on Saturday 29th at Mehta Stadium Lugazi.

UPDF FC remain in the 13th position one position above the relegation zone with 23 points.

The Army side will host relegation battling Blacks Power on Friday 28th April at Bombo Barracks Grounds
